Dave Diprose Trio – blues/roots/country
Time for some trad-blues under the chandeliers, and Dave Diprose is just the man to deliver it. Dave’s good-humoured storytelling style on vocals and guitar will be backed by dobro and double bass. Excellent stuff.
Brooke Taylor – blues/country/pop
Brooke’s been a favourite at The Chandelier Room for a long while now, first in her band Mack & The Boys, and now solo. From within her tiny red-headed frame, a huge gravel-and-honey voice emerges, intoning bittersweet songs with dynamism and a lot of heart.
Haji Basim (USA) – folk/gospel/pop
We’re honoured to have this amazing international urban folk artist, multi-instrumentalist and singer-songwriter return to our stage. Haji was born in Seattle, now lives in Los Angeles, and we’re bringing him back to Moorabbin to share his magical music.
Doors open 8pm
$20 – Our venue seats 70 people so we recommend pre-booking tickets.
Mr Black & Blues – blues/roots/rock
Michael Pollitt was inspired by a life-changing experience – a broken neck, which almost cost him his life. Performing as Mr Black & Blues he’s determined to fulfil the creative passion burning within, and has so far shared his music with the US, the UK, Europe, and across Australia. The backstory is inspiring, but the music will do the talking.
The Bean Project – folk/pop
This talented young duo recently supported The Woohoo Revue and have been gigging furiously round and about the place with their mellow folk-pop. A low-key, heartwarming treat.
Lisa Crawley – pop/folk
New Zealand-born and now Melbourne-based, the incandescent Lisa Crawley has travelled the world getting by on a song. It’s little wonder that she has been hand-picked to tour with artists such as Jools Holland, John Mayer and Paul Weller, scoring rave reviews wherever she pops up.
